It wasn't easy to get up in the morning and jump in the cab to go to the airport. Now I'm back in the old Sweden. It feels OK, but I really wanted to stay in Chicago. But I can admit that I've missed my family. It's a bit colder here in Sweden I think, maybe I just imagine myself that, I don't know.
4 am I grabbed the cab and went to the airport. The flight didn't come until 11 am, so it became quite tedious. I bought a sandwich with cheese, meatballs, cucumber and meat. Meanwhile I was waiting, I played with my new iPhone I bought two days ago, and I watched TV. I watched How I Met Your Mother at the airport. That is an American sitcom and it’s about five friends that have been friends for almost all their lives. Two of them are a couple and live together with another from the gang. He’s called Ted, he lives with Lily and Marshall. Robin and Ted is in love just like *snap* that. And the last one is called Barney, and he’s the womanizer. It isn’t so much to say about him. He wears suit all the time. I love that show. It’s fun, dramatic and remains of Friends.
The flight was half an hour delayed, but it didn’t matter. At the aircraft I just slept, slept, ate, slept and slept. I was really tired, I didn’t sleep so much tonight only like 3 hour or so.
When I arrived in Sweden my family stood there to drive me home. We ate Swedish potatisgratäng with fläsk. I told them all about Chicago and we are planning to travel there in summer! I was really happy when they told me that. At the evening we just relaxed in front of the TV, we watched Melodifestivalen and ate snacks.
And now I sit here and write the last words of this travel blog. I can’t wait to go to Chicago one more time, I really like it there.

Back in Sweden!
I just wanted to tell you that I’m back in Sweden! The journey back home went good, and now I’m back in Sweden with a lot of memories, and photos!;) I hope you guys enjoyed my “travel blog”, but my travel ends here, so bye!;)
California, day 8

Keep chilling at the hotel, shopping a little, eating a lot and chilling a bit more..;) Haha, just kidding! But that´s a very good explanation about my feeling right now! Yesterday it was a bit rainy, so I took the bus to a market and looked a little there. I didn´t buy anything, but it was very nice! I´m going home in two days.. It´s going to be pretty nice to come home, but my days here in California was awesome! I´m definitely want to come back! But if I’m coming back, maybe I’m coming in April/June, when it´s a bit warmer! And maybe I want to try surfing! Haha, anyway..;) Now I´m going to eat some dinner, see ya!
California, day 5
Hello blog!
In the morning when I woke up, I ate some breakfast, packed my picnic basket, called a taxi and went to the golden gate bridge! The whole trip took 4 and a half hour! But it was so nice, and I found a very nice place to eat my picnic! I had sandwiches, soda and a magazine with me, and I totally loved it! The view was so amazing, and luckily I had my camera with me! I sat there and read my magazine, and then I took a taxi back home to the hotel. I was back at the hotel 11 pm, and went to bed directly. You´ll maybe think this trip was a bit unnecessary, but I really wanted to see the golden gate bridge, so the 9 hours in the taxi was so worth it!
The last days I’m just going to be at the hotel, I think. Maybe I’ll go for a shopping trip someday, or do something else, but we´ll see! Have a nice day/evening, and I’ll write more in a few days! See ya!

Yesterday and today I’ve just been chilling at the hotel! Very nice, and we´ve got some really nice weather now! It´s about 27 degrees in the swimming pool, and that’s so nice!! And the people who work here are so nice! Here you have some facts about California:

I´m not sure what I’m going to do tomorrow, but something funny! Haha, we´ll see!;) See ya!

California, day 2
It´s late in the evening now, but I just have to tell you what I have done today! This morning I woke up about 8 am and ate some breakfast. When I was on my way to the swimming pool, I got a call from my boss! I answered, and he told me that a shooting on a school had occurred! I put on my clothes and called a taxi. When the taxi came we drove away, and 50 minutes later we came to the school (Taft Union High School). So instead of the article about the climate in California, I wrote an article about the shooting on this school. But the climate right now is pretty good. Here in California it´s steppe climate and savanna climate, and it´s about 10-14 degrees in the day and 3-7 degrees in the night. And I’ve got some usefulness of my Spanish, because the languages they talk here is English and Spanish! For example I talked Spanish with the taxi driver today! The value here in California is dollar, and 1 dollar is 6,66 Swedish kronor.
When I already was in the town, I took the opportunity to take a walk in the beautiful California. Some big cities here are San Francisco, Los Angeles and the capital Sacramento, and two big mountain ranges are Kustbergen and Sierra Nevada and there are some active volcanoes! But I got very tired, so I actually took the bus back to the hotel. In the hotel room I have a balcony with a view over the swimming pool, I have an air conditioner, desktop, hairdryer and free toiletries, free bottle water and an iron.
Now I’m really tired, so I’m going to sleep now. But I’m writing more in a few days! See ya!
California, day 1

Today is my first day in California! I flew from Arlanda 00.35 with the airline Turkish Airlines. I was very tired, and fell asleep as fast as we came up in the air. About 10 o´clock (Swedish time) we landed in Istanbul for a few hours. Because of that I slept the whole trip to Istanbul I could go for a shopping trip the hours we stayed in Istanbul! The first thing I really wanted to do was to go shopping at Victoria’s Secret! I was so excited, and when I found the store I was like “OMG, this is really Victoria´s Secret!!”, haha! I actually stayed in the store for about 3 hours! When I was done with my shopping I went to a café to eat something. I ate a sandwich and drank a coke. After that I just walked around in the pretty Istanbul. About half past two (Swedish time) the airplane flew on, and about 16.45 (California time) we landed in Los Angeles! California is 8 hours after, and the whole trip took about 25 hours. I grabbed a taxi and went to my hotel (Four points by Sheraton Bakersfield) in Bakersfield.
After two hours in the taxi, we came to the hotel, and it was so nice! Through the window in my room I could see the swimming pool! But it was already 7 pm, so I went to the restaurant and ate some dinner and then went to bed. Next day I’m just going to chill at the hotel I think! See ya tomorrow!

I leave tomorrow! I really don't want to leave this lovely town, Chicago. You can do whatever you want here, there are churches, zoos, pubs, cinemas, waterpalaces, hotels, everything! And there are even some celebrities that live here, like Jennifer Hudson. The famous singer.
The last days I tried to do so much as possible, for example yesterday I went downtown and shopped for $1500. I bought an iPhone 5, two chinos, dr. Martin-shoes, three shirts and four pairs of socks.
The reason I went to Chicago is because I heard of a guy called Urooj Khan. This guy won $1000000, and a few days later he was found dead. Poisoned by cyanid. The police hasn't found the murder yet. But they are working on it. So I went here to write an article about all this.
Two days ago I visited Sears Tower
(or as it is called now; Willis Tower). The height of the tower is 527 m and it got 108 floors over the ground and if you're standing on top of it, you can see the whole Chicago
(almost). The view is beautiful!
I really should pack my bags now, but I can't go away from the computer. You know facebook, twitter, tumblr, youtube, grooveshark, spotify. I get distracted all the time. The cab catch me 4:00 am tomorrow. And now the clock is 21:50 pm now. I can sleep on the plane. I don't have to sleep tonight. I haven't eaten yet, so I guess I have to go down to the hotelrestaurant and eat before I go to bed
(if I have time to sleep). No! I really should become more disciplined. I go to the restaurant, eat food, go up to my room, pack the last things, brush my teeth and go to bed. After all it's nice in bed.

Day 9 and 10 in Italy

Wazz up, it´s me Edvin and my last two days on my trip to Italy.
Day 9
That day I didn´t do very much, I ate breakfast in the morning and the sun was shining allready. After that I ran to the pool to bath and it felt so good when the sun was shining so much. Then I helped Hugo to search for the cats on the hotel, and we found them. This time they were four but last time I saw them they were just three.
And that was almost everything I did before lunch, and after we took a trip into the city to find some souvenires to take home. I found a cool t-shirt and some small things. Then we felt hungry so we went to the ice cream bar for some ice cream.
When everybody had found a thing they liked, we looked for a resturant to eat at, because we had been there for about five houres and everyone was tired. We found a really nice resturant with some delicious meat. When we had been there for a while we went home to the hotel to sleep, because we were taking the plane back home to Sweden tomorrow.
Day 10
That day I needed to wake up really early in the morning to eat some breakfast. Then we were driving for some hours until we were at Pisa airport, we were at the airport for about two hours before we could board the plane, before that we had to go through five controls.
At the plane I fell asleep so I don´t really remember about the flight, but I woke up when the plane started to land in Sweden, and it felt so good to be home here in sweden again.

Day 3: Lincoln Park Zoo

Now I’ve been here for five days. I have been out for many walks. I’ve eaten on many restaurants. I also went to see a movie on a cinema. The movie is called The Hobbit, and it’s connected to Lord of the Rings. I really recommend it to you! Yesterday I went to Lincoln Park Zoo, it’s a zoo with monkeys, tigers, lions, snakes, birds, kangaroos, hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, gorillas, bears, suricatas, polar bears, giraffes, ostriches, seals, jaguars, zebras, schimpans, cougars, camels, meerkats, turtles, alligators, pigs, cows, fishes, wolfs, all you can imagine! Name an animal and I’m sure they got it. The park had great food, and they also had a show called Lionus. It was a circus show with lions. It was very cool! The lions did flips and talked.
Lincoln Park Zoo isn’t so far from my hotel, so I walked. That’s the easiest way, ‘cause if you take the bus or the cab, it’ll take like an hour or so. It took me 15 minutes to walk.
Today I’ve been in the hotel all day. I’ve gone to the pool, to the gym, the game room, the restaurant, the pub... I DID NOT SAY THAT!
The most people that live here is Christian but some people are Jewish and Muslims.
I like it here in Chicago and I can definitely move here.
Day 2: Lovely Breakfast

Goodmorning! I just came up from breakfast. They have all you can imagine! Watermelon, kiwi,
eggs, bacon, hot chocolate, fruits, toasts with cheese, cucumber, ham, sour milk with cheerios, juice, baguettes, coffee. Heaven, and nothing else. I don’t think I have to eat for a week, I’m crammed!
I took a picture of one of the tables in the restaurant.
The weather here in Chicago is kind of the same as home. Maybe a bit warmer but still cold. It’s winter here, just like in Sweden. But it's no snow here. Today is it raining, no, more drizzle, but it's wet and cold. The temperature is 3°C or 38°F. 1°C is the same as 33.8°F.
Even if the weather isn't that good I think I'll go for a walk. Maybe to Lake Michigan. Well I'm certainly not going to take a swim, but I can go there and take some pictures and "throw sandwich".
Yesterday I ate on a great, great food-restaurant. The restaurant is called
Italian Village Restaurant.
And they are serving Italian food (dah). And I really love Italian food! Pizza, pasta... well I guess that's all. Pizza and pasta is Italian food.
Now I think I should brush my teeth and make the best of this day.
Seventh and eight day in Italy.

Wazz up, it´s Edvin here again and my seventh day here in Italy. Today I´m going to ride a horse the whole day I think, because this hotel is pretty "famous" in Sweden because they have swedish horse teachers, so I think this is gonna be amazing. I´m just gonna eat some breakfast and then I´m off on a horse, so I write when I´m back from my trip here in the countryside.
That was beautyful and cool! We started to ride on the road but after a while we went against the forest and all the farms. After a while we stopped to eat lunch and I was pretty glad that we stopped, because my butt hurted very much.
Then we were riding for some hours until we saw an old castle upon a hill, I can´t tell what castle it was because I didn´t knew where I was. So I didn´t know that we were this close to the hotel. It has been a pretty intens day, I think I´m going to bed a bit early today, so bye bye for today and here is some pictures.
Day eight
Wazz up, This is my eight day here in Italy and it´s very warm today so I didn´t do very much. I was at the pool and swimmed for a while and Hugo was searching for the cat Gustavo and his cat friends.
When I tired on just swimming I just lay there in the sun.
And we had bought bread and some ham yesterday so that was what we ate for lunch that day.
After that there was a tractor that were harvesting the grapes in the farm. So me and my friend went to there to see how it worked without smashing the grapes, and it was actually intresting to watch. I didn´t do much more that day, so there is not very much to tell about that day.

Fifth and sixth day in Italy

wazz up blog. It´s Edvin here and my fifth day here in Italy. Today I´m just gonna chill here at the pool and swim and maybe read a book. But first I´m gonna eat breakfast, it was very good yesterday so I hope it´s that tasty today too.
It was as good as yesterday so now I´m going for a swim, and as you know I can´t write when I´m in the pool! So I write when I´m dry and not in the water.
That was nice, now I think I´m going to read a very good book that is called Överlevarna. That is the fifth book about a 14 year old boy in England and his mother is Englands most wanted thief. One day she is dead and he has to live in a orphanage and suddenly he is in an office in London. The office is the school Cherubs principals office and he want him to join his school. The thing about the school is that there is not a normal school, it´s a agent school.
I really like this book because he is the same age as me.
Oh I think I might have fallen asleep while I was reading, because the sun is on it´s way down.
There is a strippy cat next to me that my little brother saw yesterday, I think he named it Gustavo and he´s trying to catch a lizard.
Now it´s about seven o´clock in the afternoon and I´m gonna eat now and then I´m gonna sleep I think, so I see you tomorrow. Here is some pictures from this day.
Day six
Wazz up I´m back and I´m going to Rome today so I´m just gonna eat some breakfast, then I´m taking the bus to Rome.
It took about two hours until I was in Rome. The first thing I saw when I came in the city was Colosseum and it was huge, I think I´m gonna try to get in there and watch it from the inside.
I couldn´t get in today but tomorrow, but I found some nice information outside Colosseum.
It was finished year 80 as a theater but used for gladiator games with lions and gladiators fighting each other for the fun. Now it´s about one o´clock and I´m really hungry, so I think I will look for a place to eat in, and then I´m going back to San Gimignano. I write when I´m back at the hotel.
I´m back now and I´m really tired, so I think I´ll stop writing here and I see you tomorrow. Bye Bye
Third and fourth day in Italy=)

Zup, Zup blog it´s Edvin here and my third day with my Italy trip blog. I´m here at my hotel near the city San Gimigano and I´m going to see the city in the afternoon and look at the stores and maybe go and visit some museums. It´s really beautyful here with all the farms and so around the hotel.
I think I´m going for a walk here in the countryside so I start write when I´m back from my walk. Now I´m back and I´m starving so I´m gonna eat here at the hotel resturant. I saw that they had a delicius pizza so let´s go and eat.
That was delicius. So now let´s find a bus that can take us to the city.
Now I´m here in San Gimignano. I couldn´t write in the bus because it was a bumpy road all the way into the main streets in the city. The city is an old fort upon a hill with huge walls around it. All the streets are just adorable and I just love them. The funny thing is that there is not more then one meter between the stores and apartment doors and everything is very narrow and crowded until you enter the town square in the middle of the city. There is a lot of interesting museums here in San Gimignano, especially one with old torture machines and facts about them. Some of the machines was terrible while some was really weird. One was called devils fork. With that they put in your throut and in your chest and then you had to live with that until you died.
I found a whole store with just knifes and old pistols in and they looked amazing. But there was a really weird thing in the city and that was that there was some strange metal sculptures all around the city, one was even on a roof.

Day 4
The fourth day here in Italy I was at the beach that was pretty far away, in a city named Cecina on the west coast, on the same side as Pisa.This city is bigger than San Gimignano and the most of the city is near the beach. It was very warm that day but luckily it was a bit windy too.
You can say in other words that day was the best. When I had swimmed for a while I went in to the town square to find somewhere to eat.
I found a pretty nice place in a valley with homemade pasta and it tasted very good. And after some hours in the stores, I decided to find a bus that could take me to my hotel.
When I came home I was tired and slept for one hour or two. Luckily I woke up in time for dinner here on the hotel. And that was my fourth day in Italy and here is some pictures from my trip. I write to you tomorrow.
Here in the middle of the pictures is a lucky "fountain" where there is all sorts of money from all over the world.
